iPhone and iPad

PlantWave iOS/iPadOS app requires iOS/iPadOS 15 or later.

iPhone Minimum Requirements:

  • iPhone 6 or 6s (and newer)

iPad Minimum Requirements:

  • iPad 5th generation (and newer)

  • iPad Air 3rd generation (and newer)

  • iPad mini 4 (and newer)

  • iPad Pro (all models)

Android

Devices running Android range significantly in hardware and the PlantWave app requires a certain level of performance for intended functionality. Android version 12 and up is required, Android 14 or higher is highly recommended for successful use of the Android PlantWave app. Android Minimum Requirements:

Google Pixel

  • Pixel 4 and newer

Samsung Galaxy

  • Galaxy S10 and newer (including + and Ultra models)

  • Z Flip 3 and newer

  • Galaxy A25

OnePlus

  • OnePlus 8, 9, and 10 (including Pro models)

Huawei

Only older Android-based Huawei phones (EMUI) are supported, such as the P30 Pro (must be on Android 12 or higher). Newer Huawei phones running HarmonyOS (HarmonyOS NEXT / 5 and later) are not Android and cannot run the PlantWave app.

Incompatible Devices:

Phones running MagicOS (Honor) or Nothing OS, along with all Oppo, Xiaomi, Redmi, Poco, Realme, and Vivo phones, are incompatible.

Android Devices with Known Difficulty:

  • Devices running Android 11 and below

  • OnePlus Nord series, some OnePlus T models

  • Most Samsung Galaxy A series, Galaxy S series 9 and prior (includes + and Ultra models)

  • Motorola Moto G series

  • LG LML413DL and Stylo using OS below Android 12
