EarthPercent
PlantWave donates 1% of its global revenues to nature protection and restoration projects via EarthPercent, the music industry's nature and climate foundation co-founded by Brian Eno.
This commitment is ongoing and integrated into how PlantWave operates.
What This Means
PlantWave is a plant music device that translates plants’ subtle electrical signals into real-time music using bio-sonification technology, allowing individuals to listen to plant-generated ambient compositions at home.
As part of our long-term commitment to ecological reciprocity, 1% of global revenues from PlantWave-branded products are donated to nature protection and restoration projects through EarthPercent's Nature pillar.
These initiatives support environmental protection and restoration efforts worldwide, including Indigenous-led projects.
Why EarthPercent
EarthPercent mobilizes the music industry to respond to the climate and biodiversity crisis by directing funding toward high-impact environmental organizations.
Through its Nature pillar, EarthPercent supports projects focused on protecting and restoring ecosystems, with a particular emphasis on Indigenous-led initiatives — communities widely recognized as among the most effective stewards of global biodiversity.
Supporting this work aligns with PlantWave's core philosophy: working with nature not as a resource, but as a collaborator.
A Structural Commitment
This is not a limited campaign or temporary initiative.
PlantWave's revenue contribution is integrated into our business model and calculated quarterly in accordance with our revenue contribution agreement.
As the PlantWave community grows, this commitment grows with it.
Music made from living plants now gives back to living ecosystems.
